This is great advice, but I don't think intelligent people suffer from a need to prove themselves (any more than any other person). Intelligence, like beauty or athleticism, wants to express itself. I have long wondered why an athlete can perform well above the average person, and receive medals! A beautiful person can be praised for natural beauty! But when it comes to intelligence it must often be hidden. Yet, like this article, this fact of life is universally and infinitely true.
