This is me, with IQ 140 and tagged G&T early on. I figured out in Junior High that I could get average grades without any real consequence, and turned into a C student in high school and college. When I went to grad school, I worked hard and got mostly As, but of course was exhausted (working f/t and going to school). I've always felt my intelligence was wasted. I couldn't ever figure out a career, and people often treat me like I'm dim-witted. The real problem was I got the message "you're so smart you can do anything" meanwhile I could barely get thru the day.
