This is possibly the dumbest autism myth! Non-autistic people fit on a wide intellectual spectrum, yet autistic people don't? This is also the reason so many of us--BIPOC, women + normal IQ range were missed. On the other hand, if you are "gifted" -- especially verbally--you can be missed because your giftedness can hide your other learning disabilities.
