This is to me a very important topic, because most of us overestimate our ability to deal with power (and wealth). Most of us never have to! Whenever I've had any power, I've noticed it can pull me into bad behavior and I have to monitor myself. Like everyone else I think of myself as a "good person" and yet I think corruption is not so exotic when the opportunity arises.
