This is why I don't offer to clean up. It's complete BS that women are expected to do this, in addition to helping with and/or doing all the cooking. Maybe someday we'll create a cultural norm that if a woman cooks, a man helps to clean up in groups. It can happen in the privacy of homes where nobody can see that men are acting like servants, but in public? Pfft. But thanks for writing this, because it explains a lot about why I'm universally considered rude LOL.
