This reminds me I need to get a JOB. We've tightened up the budget and travel overseas is a fantasy. My husband still works but the financial cliff will soon be at our doorstep when he quits/retires. It's the inevitability of a fixed income + inflation + continual erosion of the social safety net. Thanks for the reminder and kick in the pants. Even a part-time job would help.
