Unfortunately, there is perverse incentive to publish every day, or nearly so. Partly, it has to do with the impossible viral formula. If I throw a certain amount of crap at a wall, or onto this platform, it will stick. I'm not sure how to suss out what's good vs. what's not embarassing when confronted by the numbers game that is online writing. It's not even that I want to get rich....more like I'm operating like a non-profit that needs to continually raise funds to stay in business.
