Watching the film about Aileen (with an amazing performance by Charlize Theron) my husband made an interesting comment. He used to be a psychiatric nurse and said the actress did an excellent job of showing the lightning-quick shift from normal to enraged that people with Borderline Personality Disorder display. Seems to me, Aileen didn't stand much of a chance.
