What's horrifying to me about AI is how it reveals the true shallowness of humanity. Poetry is one of our greatest accomplishments, yet it can be duplicated with enough data inputs--sure, trillions or quadrillions, but eventually. Reminds me of the notion that a million monkeys typing on a million typewriters would eventually produce Shakespeare. Then again, can we be surprised that such a deeply destructive tool was created by the same guys, a few generations hence, who created the atomic bomb? The ones who are clever, and limited, in a way only humans can be?
