While sane people understand that Federal jobs provide necessary services to Americans -- such as VA benefits, Social Security checks, National Park Rangers, etc. -- many Americans are woefully ignorant of how the complex bureaucratic machine gets things done. They are fixated on a fictional conspiracy of "waste" and "fraud" because Trump et all keep trumpeting how corrupt the bureaucracy is. Many of these idiots are deeply envious Someone Else has a cushy fed job. They envy the stability, the pay, and the false but widely advertised notion that gov't employees don't do any real work.

Is it true that there is a Federal employee somewhere not burning the midnight oil, just calling in and not really putting passion into his or her position. Yes, there are some...but keep in mind being a bureaucrat is much more of a baseball season than a brief football season. You have to pace yourself.

As a former gov't worker, I can tell you I showed up every day and did my part, and my colleagues did, too. The slackers soon left, and the miscreants were usually fired. Were they going way above and beyond the call of duty? Not usually, but then again gov't jobs aren't known for making you rich. They are there to stabilize society. They are there to move the machine alone. They are there to bolster a healthy middle class.

These morons who cheer while Trump and Musk destabilize society, sew chaos, and remove programs that help people aren't just envious. They are also ignorant. These imbeciles believe the Post Office is a nefarious organization when its mission is to help us communicate. They stew about how the IRS is rife with fraud when its mission is to collect taxes so we can have a military, roads, bridges, parks, etc.

There's no point in trying to explain reality to these mental midgets: they are obsessed with welfare Queen waste and teenage immigrant single moms who are the root of all evil. This is exactly what the billionaire takeover of America is about: demonizing the workers and elevating the oligarchy. The rich want ALL the money, and they will destroy whomever and whatever they see that gets in their way.

It's much, much easier to demolish than to create, but these Jan6 fake patriot troglodyte dunderheads think they are going to reinvent modern civilization by "getting rid of government." When it hits home, and they lose their SS/VA/Disability check, their food stamps, their WIC, and whatever other subsidies they get--they are going to boot every one of these feckless elected officials out of office. The sad truth is, a huge swath of the American public is deeply ignorant of where their government benefits--whether in the form of a check or a public service--come from.

They come from Federal, state, County, and city workers.
