Yeah. I get that autism has a stigma and HSP doesn't but I'd read the HSP book twice, checked myself off the list for everything, and it didn't address my core struggles with relationships. Autism fits me because it does address emotional dysregulation and trouble maintaining friendships. There is a big wide hole in the HSP description because it attempts to merely re-market the term "sensitive" but I am fundamentally different in how I think from a non-autistic person. We 'high-functioning' women have a lot of catching up to do in terms of getting the right diagnoses.
