Yep. I had so many second chances and they all got missed. Diagnosed at 58. I'm trying to share what I now know about being autistic, undiagnosed, and female (I am also ADHD). I gave a talk called Neurodivergence and Women: The Big Difference for a church retreat recently. It was well-attended and people seemed hungry for the information. It was a women's retreat, with a lot of older women. During the discussion, many women shared their stories of being ND in school, or stories of family members. We underestimate how much the issue of covert/hidden ND identity (or lack thereof) affects our culture.
