Yep, many of us are one healthcare crisis away from the streets. I lived next to a dry river bed in AZ and we had an encampment that was constantly being cleared out. The amount of trash was insane and homeless folks kept coming back. My elderly neighbors were freaked out by them. One, a former cop, would go down and speak with the campers/homeless, which helped, but in general the city had no good solution.
