You've inspired me yet again, Bev. I'm going to use my basketball to measure space. It's not good for much else, except obviously basketball playing but it's always been quite limited otherwise. Keep in mind you can have a giant hourglass (like the witch in The Wizard of Oz) in, say, your kitchen. You don't have to limit yourselves to those cheap hourglasses that come with board games!
